Yes! Once you've received your Rapid or Deep Research AI-answers, you will have the option to then submit them for verification. At the bottom of the page you will find a 'Submit for verification' button.
Changes to verification have resulted from extensive user feedback and ongoing product evolution. We’re adapting the role of our lawyers-in-the-loop to ensure they provide the greatest value—particularly where their legal insight truly makes a difference.
Rapid & Deep Research answers are designed for substantive legal queries where such in-depth input adds real weight and confidence to your legal research.
We don’t offer verification on instant AI-generated answers because this mode tends to be more exploratory and conversational in nature. It often includes loosely framed, poorly worded, or out-of-context queries that aren’t always presented as substantive legal questions. Instant AI-answers often include templates (e.g. affidavits or letters), case summaries, and the like.
Templates often require a nuanced understanding of the specific facts—an area where only the practising lawyer can make accurate assessments. For this reason, it is not suited for verification.
Additionally, for case summaries: when a URL is provided, LawY generates summaries based on the primary source itself, allowing you to dive deeper through the chat interface. When a single case is requested, LawY uses a previously verified source link to maximise accuracy from the outset.
If you think there is a substantive legal question missing from your list, we recommend typing your question again into the chat window below the list of questions. Make it as succinct and clear as possible. Then click the ‘Ask’ button to continue your conversation. You can then click ‘Generate’ again and, your additional question should appear in the list.
If your question still does not appear, please notify hello@lawy.ai and we can assist you from there.
Please note, Rapid and Deep Research, along with verification, is not available on any templates (e.g. affidavits, letters, etc) or case summaries — so these types of questions will not appear the generated list.
