If your documents are stored in practice management software like ActionStep, LawY can't directly access them. You'll need to copy those files into OneDrive, Google Drive, or Dropbox first so LawY can analyse and work with them.

LawY uses OCR to read and analyse documents in various formats, including handwritten notes, meeting records and client annotations. It's a feature that often surprises users with how well it works in practice.

There are some limitations to be aware of. Video files aren't supported, and images need to contain readable text to be processed. Password-protected files require the password to be read, and while LawY is improving at handling zipped folders, some may still fail to process. If you're unsure whether a file will work, simply upload it and LawY will let you know.
