Automatic Deep Research is our latest feature that identifies legal research questions whose answers need a closer look, researches them for you, applies the findings to your matter, and emails you a referenced memo.
Automatic Deep Research runs on the questions you already ask. You ask a question and get your usual quick answer. In the background, it checks whether the answer needs a closer look. If it does, it runs the deeper research, applies the findings to your matter, and emails you a fully referenced memo.
LawY research already delivers fast, verified answers to your legal questions. Automatic Deep Research builds on that, drawing on the documents and details in your own matter files and applying those findings directly to them, so what lands in your inbox reads like work done on your file.
Automatic Deep Research is built to be useful, not noisy. LawY measures the deeper research against your original answer and sends a memo only when the fuller analysis materially adds to it: a development worth knowing, or a point the quick answer didn't reach. Most conversations won't trigger one. That's deliberate.
When there's something worth sending, it arrives in your inbox fully cited and ready to read.
Automatic Deep Research is rolling out in stages as we learn what works best for our users.
Available now: Automatic Deep Research has launched first to Australia and United Kingdom LawY standalone users and LEAP Australia users, on Australian matter types.
